ARGH! I've been hearing so many different numbers for the new tiburon, but they're all from pretty legitimate sources. The korean tuscani, released recently, puts out around 175 horsepower, but Hyundai original mentioned a 200+ engine, I believe. Also, I heard it was supposed to be more than the eclipse, which would be more than 200. If anyone has any definite numbers on the AMERICAN tuscani, i would appreciate it, as this would defeinitely influence my buying decision a lot. 25 horsepower is a whole lot to try and make up for with mods. Thanks everyone

No definite numbers yet.

I'll be one of the first to know though, so I'll let everybody know when I find out.

It has not yet been determined according to HMA. In my humble guesstimation that the 2003 Tiburon will have 181 Horsepower.

Sure, you could make it work, just kiss the 6-speed gearbox good bye. As it would not work with the Santa Fe 4WD system. You would also have to "Tunnel" through the body, or lift the body up to make room for the rear driveshaft. Hell...sounds like the makings of the first Monster truck Tiburon! <img src=icon_smile_clown.gif border=0 align=middle>

cars.com says 200 HP but that has got to be a mistake.
