Type-rs are uber slow if the kid cant drive. I've wasted two, and a turbo del sol. Its all in how you drive. The forth type-r dropped a valve then slipt the block. i dont count that one.

umm skyline is NISSAN. Id takea typeR over an evo.. itll still be running after 100k miles.

yea thats true they are very reliable, but he makes it seem like honda is uber fast. The HP/Tq numbers are insufficient even with a turbo. I just disagree with him. Almost everyone in the world has owned a civic one time or another in their life. integra's are a good car no doubt, but i would choose an evo over the integra anyday. simply for the fact that i like boosted vehicles. Also i like to own a skyline, but the fact that everyone would follow or stop me to be on my nuts about the car.... is the reason i wouldn't get one.

Left stock the Evo will do over 100K miles as well, the thing is there are so many engines that are so much more developed than the 4G63 it isn't funny. Honda's engines are pretty much THE most devloped where they forego forced induction; VTEC has been around for ages, and Nissan only recenty caught up with the SR20 VVT. Mtsubishi only caught up with the EvoIX, which is pretty bad when you look at the timeline.

Pull apart a Honda engine, and you'll also realise that it's one of the most refined engines out of the factory[with the 4G you get casting flash almost everywhere. Hell the Beta I's and II's are more refined than my 4G the first time I pulled it apart and cleared the crap out of the heads and crankcase] Nissan engines are also very refined, nut not to the extent of the Honda engines.

Anyhoo, I'd agree. The kid couldn't drive, that much is for sure. ITRs are some very good cars, and they handle and stop well to boot.

the kid doesn't know how to drive his car. when he thinks he can't win a race he has me race it for him. i just wanted to test him out and it shows!!!

HE'S BAD!!!! but i just finished putting his adjustable cam gears and pulley set in and tought him how to drive better today.

Alot of kids shift so early and dont let it rev out, plus they cant launch, shift smooth.. so on. Its not about how fast you shift, its about reducing the shift shock and letting the car slide into the next gear. Thats why some people can just destroy everything in bracket racing in a 17 second car. Its because they do 17.2 on EVERY run.

I want to get my car to the track and get it timed in SOOO bad. Highschool drags is in may. I cant wait!

My apologiment if I was stupid but I just couldn't shut up when the two times powerful car were beaten because it wasn't driven properly and then the guy shouts about it here. Big deal..not something I would be proud of.

I beat a Mercedes SLK 500 with my 95 S-10 Blazer because the guy TOTALLY sucked at driving. The Blazer is not all powerful, but it's still funny that a guy with a car like that got pwned by my Blazer.

the kid really sucks at driving. now he's my student so i'm teaching him how to drive better. afer he can handle racing in a straight line i'm teaching him auto x.
