Must be mid-life crisis setting in....but, I'm glad Veilsidetib00 talked me into buying the 03GT....it's all and more than I expected. I've got the 4 speed automatic with the + & - alternate shifter, which is almost like having a manual stick shift. The first thing I want to do is increase the HP with different exhaust pipes. Need some help guys, I'm just a rookie Tib owner. Thanks!

Well. getting two straight pipes is going to be difficult, because i think the gas tank is in the way, this stock design on the car is probably the most fvcked up thing i have ever seen before, for now, go get some zigen fireballs and get a custom catback made.

Yeah, I also recommend getting a mandrel bent custom cat-back exhaust system. It would be sweet if you attached two APEXi World Sport mufflers too.

dude thats cool yer pops got a tib! after i got my 01 both my folks went and got 02 sonatas

anyway...MY thought is to get rid of the dual exhaust and get yerself a custom mandrel bent SINGLE exhaust w/ larger piping...w/ such low horsepower as it is, my thought is that going to a single exhaust will be better for the flow...going to 2 bigger exhausts would be a waste IMO...plus ya gotta get 2 of everything...all for a 180hp car? no thx.

if ya talk to a custom shop about exhaust, i'd also talk to em about getting a custom headers made...

and a custom CAI...that wont be rocket science...

but this is all just MY opinion and will likely be disagreed with.

Just wait for headers, and save up for headers and exhaust. That way everything fits perfectly the first time.

Been hearing excellent gains from Sharkracing. 15hp or so they are claiming.

Thats my plan anyway.
