What's up guys, I haven't been on these forums in awhile but I got a question I could use some help with. I'm looking into purchasing the Venom 400 perfomance control module ( http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jhtml?CATID=189762&BQ=sc ). However, I am stumped as to whether there is a module made that would work for my 1.6L DOHC engine. Is the performance characteristics of my engine close enough to that of a 1.6L non-vtec civic that the chip would work? If you could all do me a favor and look at the link I provided, tell me (if any) which chip would work in my car. I'm guessing the non-vtec civic or the 1.6L del sol if any of them. Thanks for the help in advance.

I asked Venom about this once. The modules are vehicle specific so they could not recommend installing them on our cars.

hey man your better off, i've had many long hard discussions with friends and venom. The venom 400 isn't worth the money because it only works at half throttle not full. my suggestion to you is to go with a piggy back setup like the apexi safc where you can control the fuel curve yourself from the lcd screen. chips can/will **** up your ecu, i've seen it happen more than once. the piggy back just takes what you got and makes it alters it temporarily not perminately and it won't require you run premium. later
