My dad works with and sells high performance turbo-diesel boat engines. Anyway... they are thinking of seller smaller gasoline engines and are probably going to become distributors for the new Wankel-Mazda rotary engines. They are gonna sell N/A and turbo engines, I'm gonna find out the exact specs and stuff (displacement, etc) but just curious if there is any chance that one of those engines would fit in a Tiburon engine bay. Any thoughts?

They will fit into most any thing.
There is a very good book " HOW TO MODIFY YOUR ROTARY ENGINE."
Are used mostly with 48 IDA carburettor.

it may be fit but it would be illegal. if you are going to transplant it has to be same make newer engine.

It's illegal to put an older engine into your car.

So if your car is a 2000, you need a motor out of a 2000 and above.

Yeah, i live in New Jersey so i'd have to deal with inspection. Thanks for the info. It's a far fetched idea. Just wondering since I could get a good price on the engine.

LOL now i am gonna call police and send her to every dragracer in my contry that drive old american muscle cars 8D (here are camaro Z28 ´95 with maybe 350 cid Very much tune Chevy from Camaro z28 ´85 and lot others cars.. almost every old american car types + lot of other cars)

Funny thing happen last night American cars owner were bugging Japan/france/german/british and others cars and guess what the cop did? = storm from every turns and follow Americans cars and let others contry cars alone hehe and the american cars ARE ALL TUNE and GOES under 13 sec 1/4 (ofcourse cop could find out who the owner is easy and who the driver was but just see cops try to catch american cars just made me want my video camra there and then cop got american car to pull over then the Japan car SPEEDED past them and some rev their engine , others just drove slowly and SMILED) :lol: :evil:
