Big question;
Is it better to have the wastegate - waste pipe welded to the down pipe? what are the benefits on this set up?

It does depend a lot on just where the WG pipe meets the dump pipe bro. Where were you thinking of putting it?

I'm reading Maximum Boost right now, they say for best wastegate response is a minimum of 18in after the exhaust comes out of the turbo when you can put the wastegate exhaust back into the exhaust system.

But they say the best is to give it its own exhaust.

Well, the question at this point ought to be, will the vehicle in question need to get through any form of emmisions testing? :puzzled:

dont think theres really any benefit to having atmosphere or back into the exhaust other than emissions standards (if applicable), and noise.
