^^What he said. I hear the ride is HORRIBLE for our Accents, even if they may not be so bad on other cars...

no, not for me, thanks anyways, keep posting up these links, sometimes you hit a good one, and every on here has considered these at one point or another, looked around at them, and then changed their mind, or bought them, put them on, took them off, replaced their struts since they were blown out, and list them on eBay, for sale forum, or most of the time, throw them out since they would not wish this ride on anyone out there.

Do you even have any experience with these coilovers? Or, are you just going on other people's opinions? What might not work for some people may be exactly what someone else is looking for. These would probably be great for Autocross.

I do not have experience with them on one of my cars

I do have experience with them on a friends integra.

Most of the horror stories on the threads like the rubbing, destroying things, are due to bad install, he had no problem with them rubbing or the like, but the ride was harsh, and he did have newer struts when he put them on.

After having them on for a few months, when we went out, it was in my car, by his choice. They were off the car after 6 months.

That's why the bouncie.

Some cars they might be fine, but I would never let them go near my car, but the thought is tempting, 125 dollars and you can adjust ride height.

I have run them for 2 summers on my LC2 with KYB shocks.
It is a stiff ride but well worth it for the increased performance. The car is very neutral with little roll when autocrossing. Every corner is a blast. I switch back to the stock setup for winter driving. the spring rates that came with the coil overs were 350lb and 300lb. You can always get a lighter spring from AFCoil. It's a hell of a deal for $150.00
just my 2cents

Yeah, I DO hear they kick ass in autocross and on smooth level ground, but as soon as you get them on a bumpy street, that's where the trouble comes in. Speaking the from experience I have with my Escort (also using inexpensive coilover sleeves) it's not TOO bad, but it gets kind of annoying if you live in the inner city where there are tons of cracks and potholes in the street. When I'm on long stretches of highway or out in the country in areas where it's not too bad, it rocks. I suppose if you keep your car a bit higher and then lower it to a more aggressive stance on race day, you could work around it, but that's a bit to omuch work for me. I just live with it.

Oh yeah, and if you do get these for ANY car, get AFTERMARKET struts... Otherwise it won't matter if you like them or not, you'll be taking them off to replace your factory struts in no time at all. I'm running stock struts (makes the ride a lot worse I hear), but that's just because I got everything together for $180 and I needed it.
