It won't let me put the exacty addy in there to take you the rims, so you have to click on "colored range" and then click on the white wheels. They are the diablo, the phantom, and the tornado.
I'm looking for the 15's or 16's
Would these fit? I'm confused on if they will or not so I wanted to ask everyone their opinion. Thank you

16's?!?!?! what are you thinking. if you aint rollin on 20's you aint wrappin right lol j/p. no but i say 17's is the lowest you get on a tib. i'd get 18's if i had a tib. but to answe your question yea they should fit.

What is it with big rims ? When I had my muscle cars in high school 15" were great - my z car had 14" !
Seems like a money wasting trendy thing to me. If you need the aspect to be the same for speedo reasons, what good does it do other than looks ? I am just gonna keep my nice, NON RICE official hyundai rims and get 205-50's or something. It will be nice and wide enough . You can get a whole set of killer tires for under $300. Then, with the money you save, get some eibach springs.
This little car will handle better than you can drive it after that.

2001 blue Tibby, leather, cd, custom racing stripes, etc. every option avail.

We should all be lucky enough to be able to afford TWO sets of rims and tires. We all know what we like we also know what we can afford. Again another reason we drive Hyundais, their a good combo of both.

So why would you want 15's rather than 17+ for racing? And do you mean drag racing, or road racing?

When you get the bigger rims, is the tire diameter staying the same or getting larger? If it gets larger then I can definitely see why you'd want the 15's (more acceleration). For road racing I thought you want a slimmer profile tire (not necessarily 18+ though) for less side bend when cornering?

Technical details please

She's talking drag racing, not road racing, so low profile is not really a concern.

The reason for smaller wheels is wheel weight. The smaller the wheel, the lighter it is. The lighter the wheel, the less energy is required to get it to rotate, thus faster acceleration. Also..lighter in general equals faster acceleration.

17" chromies can easily weigh in at over 30 lbs a wheel. Volk TE-37's or the REAL racing hart CP-035's weigh in an under 10 lbs for a 15". That's 80 lbs you just cut off your car by going with the lighter wheel, also...the rotational inertial dropped considerablly.

Lastly..the LOCATION of the wheel weight affects acceleration too. The wheel with the weight closest to the center accelerates faster.

For road racing...wheels are unsprung weight. Meaning that the weight of the wheel is not carried by the supension. For every pound of unsprung weight you remove, it is like removing 5 lbs of "sprung" weight in handling advantage. Heavier wheels are harder to turn due to increased gyroscopic forces, and harder to stop/slow rotation.

Larger wheels are also harder to spin, turn and stop/slow due to the weight being farther from the hub, and the increase in gyroscopic forces. You never see autocrosser with 20" wheels. They always go for small, light wheels.

Leave it to Random to Needlessly complicate things.

I will cut you a deal on my 14's on my Sonata Please note, they are really not rims they are actually hubs, and they aren't very sticky.

Random:

Thanks, exactly what I wanted and kinda what I had guessed.

Another question:
When I bought my 99 Blue Tibby, it had custom wheels on it. They are nice 5-spokes 14". Any way to tell what kind they are? I don't see any brand marks, except at the center of each wheel it says "Racing".
