I'm just curious if anyone got good deals on the new Tibs. My dealers around me said their to new to mark down. But I think anythings possible. I am personally looking to buy a silver GT automatic with moonroof. I know Manuals are better get that. BUT I've never drove manual. How much better are they. Your just gonna have shifting be a bother

The automatics tend to be a little bit slower in the 0-60 and quarter miles times. As for shifting being a bother, I drive an accent 5 speed and after a little while of drving it you won't even notice that you are shifting, it actually gets to the point that when i drive my moms saturn(automatic) i'm constantly unconciously looking for the clutch and trying to shift gears and i don't even realize i'm doing it until whoever i'm driving with starts laughing at me

The manual tranmition's tend to be slightly cheaper in price as well

I paid $20,500 for the Ultra Sport package 3 (V6-6 speed, 17 inch wheels, etc.). First they wanted to sell it to me for $24,000.00, however after I told them I had commitments from other dealerships in the Southeast US, the salesman told us to hold on - and so began the infamous I'll take it to my boss and see what he says ordeal. Salesman comes back and the best they can do is $22,000.00 - the reason being they added scotchgard, paint sealant, etc., etc., to the car. I then asked the salesman how that could be since the car still had alll the plastic on the body, interior and wheels. I told him if he wanted to make the sale I would buy it for $20,492 - MSRP and no more. He comes back from "his boss" and says OK. Now it's off to the finance manager and their games. He puts the contract down for us to sign with a price of 21,081. I point this out to him and he says "oh, I'll be right back." He comes back and completes a new contract for the agreed price but adds $199.00 for window etching. I told him we are not paying for that and to take it off. He completes a new contract with the amount removed.

Sorry to be long winded just wanted to pass along the info to make sure you completely review the paperwork before you sign anything.

Oh, by the way, our new Tiburon is awesome. Can't wait to get some miles on it and see what it is capable of really doing.

I bought my silver GT (package 2) 6 spd for 19,300 (msrp). Needless to say I love the way this car performs. (for stock at least, but just like any car it's always fun to add more horsepower and customize it....)

I bought both of ours for $20,300. They are both UltraSports Package 3 with the 6-speed transmissions. My wife's is Carbon Blue and mine is red. A lot of the local delaerships are tacking on an extra $2000 for "additional dealer allowed profit" but not Lee Hyundai in Fayetteville where I bought ours.
I didn't mind paying MSRP while these other dealerships are trying to rip people off.

I paid 21500 including tax, title license, It is GT V6 Silver with package 3 (6 speed, leather, ABS, Moonroof). They had 1500 of dealership add-ons (underbody rust proofing, etc.) It was the first 03 tibby the dealership got in. We did get 700 off on the MSRP but that was probably because we bought a 2000 tibby when they first came. If you plan on trading in your old tibby for a new one try selling it first. Our 2000 sold for 3000 more than what we got back on the trade and it only took them 3 days.
