Does it sound like a good deal? or is it just crap?

Looks pretty good. As long its not one of those gigantic 4" tips that have that raspy ricey sound to them. LOL. I hate those. Too bad it don't give dimensions. Then I could picture it better to see if its a decent or huge size. And 9-14 hp. That sounds a bit steep. Some give better performance in terms of hp, but that is a bit much.

I agree with him on the hp. Not so sure about that. The price is really good. I paid $200 for mine and it does give me some hp gains, but not THAT much. I say go for it! You might want to ask them what size the outlet is if you are concerned about the size.

Women...always talking about the size of tips!

*lol* J/K Anyway...as to that muffler...it's an HKS. I have that kind of muffler, and I personally don't like it. At high rpm's it gives a ricey weed whacker sound. But regular driving, and lower rpm's it's not too bad.

They said they also have one in a single outlet version...I told them i would buy one but not without seeing a pic first....

One more question for you guys..what advantages or disadvantages is there for a Rear section bolt on exhaust VS a universal muffler that is wielded on?

Thanks !

You buy that muffler from them its not much of a deal, from the look of it $99 bucks is probably the regular price. Rear section vs universal: simpler to install a bolt on a rear section, as it is vehicle specific and uses stock piping. But you might as well get a universal muffler and have the shop bend you some bigger piping for better performance and ass spanking. Theres a couple sites that are sellin out apex dunk universal mufflers for $149. My best friend has the Dunk catback version and it rumbles when hes below 3000-4000 RPM, around 5000 it gets loud. You notice some more response after install.

UUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?? It looks nice but no aftermarket muffler alone gives u more than a 1-3 hp increase now when u combine it w/ a header and catback 9-14 is possible but thats still kinda steep, especially being a universal muffler.

I suggest to do an entire underneath piping, if you want to have a hp gain. But even then, you won't gain more than 3-4 hp.

If you're just going for the looks, then yeah, ok, buy it.

Actually the only time that a muffler alone could give you 9-14 HP gains would be with a massively turbo'ed engine that had a little restrictive muffler on it.
