Just got back from Capitol! It was a lot of fun and everyone there was nice. I've got a 1.6L accent, so now we can all know how quick these cars are. This was my first time drag racing at a track, so somebody with more experience would probably do better. Anywho, here are the times. My fastest run with the stock intake was a 17.3675 with a .8035 reaction time. Honestly, this run was with the resonator off, but there was little difference in times. Actually, the accent is probably faster with the resonator on, but I never had a good reaction time when ran with it on so I don't know for sure.
I also ran with my custom intake on (a civic shorty intake hacksawed down to make it fit with a cone on the end). My best time was a 17.1528 with a reaction time of .9487. I have a feeling that a better driver could have an accent with an intake only can run 16's, probably all day with a CAI! BTW, that run was against a 2000 Civic SI with an intake and exhaust. I had him beat by several lengths off the line untill about the 1/8th mile point (me: 10.9643 him: 10.6446)!! I think I might have scared some people (esp. since NOBODY knew what kind of car mine is ). All i need now is an exhaust and that KORE CAI... I think I'm gonna create a monster!
