Hello Hyundai Brothers and Sister,

I have a 94 Elantra with the 1.8 in it and I have big plans on upgrading it. But I would like to know if I can roll with the 2000-2002 HP cam. Are there any turbo or supercharger mods as well as intercoolers for it or cold air injection systems that I can use? I am open for suggestions.. Thank you.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

You'll find most of what you'll need here...I'm pretty far away from you so I can't reccomend any places to have your car equipped, but I'm more than certain the other members will be able to help you in many ways.

Again, welcome to Hyundaiperformance.com!

If you have the 1994 elantra. You actually have a mitsubishi motor. You should be able to swap in the mitsubish 4G63 turbo motor or buy the 4g63 turbo motor parts and manifold and such and build yourself a turbo elantra rather easily.

the 2002 Elantra cams will NOT work on your motor, as your motor is actually the Mitsu motor, not a Hyundai motor.

Lastly....unless you want to go turbo or nitrous, this post/topic belongs in N/A performance, not Forced induction/Nitrous.

Yo Random,

Thx for the info you shared with me. I am really motivated to get started on upgrading my Elantra and earn respect on these city street from those who thing that Hyundai cars are punks. Wrong answer, and it's enough of us in our family to come together to prove everybody wrong.

Take care
Peace
