My '00 was $13,9!!! new. I smoked the dealer!!! You usaully don't smoke a new car dealer, you just fidle around with intrest monthly payments, special deals, but belive me you don't talk a new car dealer down in price

I got my 99 for $14,400 (with custom wheels and the big shark wing) and my 00 for $13,800. $13,900 is about right.

If you really want to screw them up, go in with a preapproved loan. I did that for my 00 tibby and when we got to the financing they said the best interest rate they could give me was 8.5%. I showed them my preapproved one for 7.75% and funny all of a sudden they could match 7.75% <img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

2001 Tiburon for $15,000 plus tax exactly. With the sun roof but no leather seats. Would have gotten leather seats but they had none in and were going to bring in no more.

2001 found a black 5spd. exactly what I wanted. It was a pkg 3. Had been on the lot for 4 months. Dlr installed aftermarket Glass<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0> pwr snrf for no cost. OTD w/tax for 16100.
Paid a little more than some, but I got Exactly what I wanted! Really, can you Possibly get a ride thats more fine than a Tib, for under $17?<img src=/images/forums/snitz/cool.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

I got my new 2001 SE for $24196 CANADIAN (what's that in US?) incl. tax/fees last month. Everything but leather... I think i didn't get such a good deal as it was their last car and had few hundred KMs on it. They only gave me a 7.9% buy out option... I thought it was pretty high, but too bad i liked the car so much.
