Hey, does anybody know what fits a 2001 tib wheel-wise? i know the 4x114.3 and 42mm offset but every wheel i have looked at so far the dealer/sales guy has said that it wont fit, even with the concentric spacer, what gives here?<img src=/images/forums/snitz/angry.gif width=15 height=15 border=0><img src=/images/forums/snitz/angry.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Some sales people don't know what there taking about, beacuse I wanted some of those Motegi MR7's I belive and I've seen them on a few Tibs on SR and here and I want to sears and the guy told me that they won't fit and that they sale no rim that would fit, just one that looked like it came of an 1980 BMW. Then he told me I would probalby have to spend something like $2000 to get a set that would fit. I told him what I thouht of him and then I went to town fare tire and got some Motegis on lay-a-way( waiting till summer to get them).

Actually i was looking into the MR7s or the MR12s but was told neither would fit, a reason could not be given except "they just wont fit". I know someone has successfully swapped wheels, whats the deal here?

Yeah the MR7"s are the ones I'm going to get but some people don't know what there talking about, one says yes one says no, but I trust the people here more than I do these crazy sales people.

So you can confirm that the motegi's will fit? cause if i buy them and they dont fit im going to sue you or something.(jk)

The Motgei Mr12 WILL fit on all Tiburons dont let anyone tell you different...

On the 97-99 Tiburon they will fit with spacers on the front wheels<img src=/images/forums/snitz/cry.gif width=16 height=16 border=0>

And on the 00-01 Tiburon they will fit WITOUT spacers by removing a useless both that really donest serve a purpose

So in a nutshell they will fit you car
