I've been searching for the same thing mostly out of curiousity. Here's a site I found, but I haven't asked them about accent chips...they seem to specify excels. Could give them a try...why not?!

in australia, what we know as the X3 accent is the excel, they didn't obtain the accent badge until the LC model.

anybody find any performance chips for a 2001 accent gl...i would appreciate it!! btw, Black Magic, that top link you put on there, the first out of the three, it doesn't work, it gives a page cannot be displayed...could it be cuz i am in the us??? anyways, let me know if anyone finds a chip for a 2001!! thanx!
