Why turbo instead of NOS

Why would you go turbo? I had a friend that builds muscle cars and he is doing everything to talk me out of going turbo. He suggested NOS to me.
Wont the turbo burn out your engine fast?
I have a 2000 Tib and I want to have some fun.
I only have 28K milage so I have a long way for warranty.
Do you know anyone who has used turbo for any given length of time. Seeing the Tib revs at such a high RPM during everyday crusing speeds. The turbo will be kicking in all the time. I'm also going on the specs for the Alpine Kit.
I think it kicks in at 2500 rpm. Man you do more than that just crusing down the highway. It's like 3500 rpm for Highway crusing speed. You would be pumping all that presure in your engine all the time. Talk about wear and tear on the engine.
I'm not planning on racing 'Well".
I want the car for an everyday driving car without beating the **** out of it. But I want to have the power for when I feel froggy<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

i rather have a turbo then fill up a NOS can every now and then......
and plus, wat are u gonna say when people ask you wat ur pushin in the car... 115whp WITHOUT NOS <img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0><img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0> i rather hook up a car and then go turbo, its better in the long run anyway drop the turbo, go synthetic, mantain the motor, and nothing else to worry about..... plus turbo sounds better<img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>
