I have a problem with my 2001 Tiburon. After I reach about 40 MPH, I can hear wind coming in my driver's side window and the back window. It sounds like the window isn't completely rolled up and it makes a whistling sound. It has been doing this since I drove it off the car lot. I usually just turn my music loud and ignore it, but I really would like to get it fixed. Is this something that the dealer can/will fix
Weather stripping may be bad or not sealed. If it's new, I'd just take it back to the dealer. I have a similar problem on the passenger side. I've just been lazy on taking it in...
It maybe weather stripping, but it may also be the window itself. Take it back to the dealer and go for a test drive with one of the mechanics. He can then tell ya what it is. My bet is they have to adjust the glass itself, move it up and back a bit.
After mine was replaced from a break in, it friggin' howled like a banshee! It's ok now, after the adjustment
i had that on my new accent on the passanger side and i took it to the dealer and they changed the rubber thingy, it is less now but still when i go at like 45 MPH in the high way i still hear it. so i mean unless it is really annoying there is nohting you can do about it.
Yeah, its the weather stripping as everyone else said. As long as water is not leaking in, I'd leave it unless its really loud. Crank up the music
