ok guys... i know there's been a ton of posts on the beta swap, but i have one more question that i don't think has been covered:
in a 2001 ACCENT GS, do you have to replace the wiring harness when performing the BETA swap? I know that you have to do the engine, ECU, tranny, and shorten the axles, but i don't think the harness itself has been covered, so what do you say? I spoke with the service guy at the local hyundai dealership, and he mentioned that the whole harness would have to be replaced. also, he said that a motor from a 2000+ tibby wouldn't work... supposedly it has to be 1999-.
any ideas on this?
later!
