ill just bump up this topic instead of making a new one.
I found 2 12" computer neons for 9.99 & thinking about picking up a pair for my interior. My question is what parts would i need to make this work? i searched & this is the closest related thread http://www.hyundaiperformance.com/forums/topic.php?t=13620
theres a couple of radio shacks around here so if i need anything from there please let me know.
Thanks in advance. :rambo:

you have a website for them? i ask because thats a good price. if you have two, they should have a dual inverter with one end having the power wire goinginto it. just cut the little computer clip off, and wire it into a power wire.

They were in an add for a computer place ( PC club).
2 12" neons in either red, blue, & another 1(the 3 in the add) for $9.99.
Somebody on this site has computer neons in his interior( dont remember the SN, its an LC2) & it looked 8D .
WHat specific tools would i need to tap into the power wire? i remember seein some wires above the brake pedal. & for the switch maybe i could get one from radio shack or an autoparts place.

k, i found their page (www.pcclub.com)

it was vamps car. http://hyundaiperformance.com/forums/topic.php?t=35874

if you dont have much electrical knowledge, just tap into the fuse box as no tools are needed. just look at the fuse diagram, find a fuse that is on all the time(the radio fuse is a good one). then strip the end of the power wire for the cathodes and put it in one of the slots for the fuse. if it doesnt turn on, put it into the other one. make sure you connect the ground wire for the lights first though. just find any screw on a good metal part of the body and wrap the black wire around it, and then screw the screw in, making sure it is a good connection.

easiest thing to do is tap directly into the fusebox below the hood release using a metal adapter, then pop of the plastic molding and run the wire underneath. piece of cake and it looks clean.

that's how mine are done ;): can't see the wires or anything, just the glow coming from underneath the seats :D

three prongs, easy:)

one prong is for the input for power. another is for when the switch is pushed one way and the other prong is for when the switch is tilted the other way. you can find out which is which with a meter, or by process of elimination.

one prong could be for input 12v power

one for the accessory out

and one to ground the light inside the switch ;):

Get the 2 prong I think. Thats what I have, check out my cardomain page. Page 2 http://www.cardomain.com/id/vampofvegas

This is how I mounted mine. Mind you I think they are 10". 12 might be a little hard to mount like this. http://www.whiteazn.com/vamp/neons/

Mine were from Sunbeam tech (off ebay). But 10 dollars is a good price. Thats how much I got mine for, but mine included shipping too. Good luck on them!
