Me and a friend went to time my motor in my s-coupe. and found that when you loosen the hold down bolts for the distributor... it doesnt adjust!!! WTF Mate!!!

Car knocks under hard acceleration... needs timing done and it cant be adjusted like it should be able to be adjusted... WHAZZZZZZZZZZUP WITH DAT!

P.S. It is a 1993 Hyundai S-Coupe.... 1.5L... 4 Cylinder... 5 Speeeeed Standard

Does anyone here actually know how to time these motors???? HMMM!!!

NEEEEEEEED TO KNOW NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should be able to adjust it there, my excel was knockin hard under stress (hills, hard accel etc) I just drew a line with some white out and loosin'd the bolt and tweakd it a couple times perfect now. but i also messed with the dis. cap and check the plug wires were on good. If yours doesnt make a difference no matter how much you adjust it, it may be something else.
