Alright so im heated right now. My x roommate moved out over a month and 1/2 ago while i was at work and he was owing me $. Well today my mom calls me freaking out because a detective called and wants to speak to me. He told her he was arrested and says im to blame (claimed he didnt believe him though). So I called him up and he started asking me all these questions. Before that though i researched online and found out he was arrested for child pornography!!!!!!!!!!! I thought omg I sold him my old computer, of course i wiped it though b/c windows was having conflicts, NOT b/c i had that type s*** on it. Neways the cop says he says we got in an arguement and he moved out which didnt happen. I told him he was a loser and sat on the computer ALL day with no job trying to meet girls I was like get a f****** job. The cop said thats what its about, he tried to meet with an underage girl in tampa!!!! He was trying to say it was me chatting with her online, now i have to meet with this cop and talk to him even more than i did on the dang phone. I dunno if they got him going to meet this girl or if he was talking sex online with her or what! Somehow someway its possible for him to blame me though and them to check into it. How freaking stupid is this... I told him i remembered him talking about a girl in tampa who was supposed to give him a really nice laptop and I said yeah right some girls not just going to give you an alienware laptop!!! He said her parents said it was okay and they were buying her a new one.... I said her parents what is she in high school or something (hes 28). He didnt respond and i went on about my business..... He mentioned her more than once i cant remember what he said about her though but i remember the impression that she was young. IM SO HEATED ABOUT THIS RIGHT NOW! BE A MAN AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS! Im going through this with my brother right now whos in jail blaming it on us even though it is far from our fault. WTF is wrong with people!!!!!!!!

well,, your ex-roomate will say anything to stay out of trouble at this time.

I believe there should be a death penalty for those types of people, 28 years old trying to meet an underage chick, death by hanging sounds good.

Well not exactly suprised, just really pissed he decided to blame me. He could of blamed the guy whos account he used to make a sn off of lol I cant understand how they got him with child porn though if he was trying to solicate a minor? Maybe she sent him a pic or something , also it would of been his account not mine. I dunno wtf is goin on.

Judging by the fact that this has been under investigation for 2 months I don't think you have anything to worry about. From what you mentioned it sounds like the detective was just following this lead just to tie up loose ends. He probably wants to interview you because you mentioned you had information relevent to the case. At this point, he is using you to build his case against his suspect (not you). Definitely go in and spill the beans.

well he was talking to the cops then enitre time. I've seen thses dateline stories. But you want to truth? I'd have gotten a lawyer before I talked to the cops. I know you didn't have anything to do with this, but i do not trust cops anymore. They do some shady ****. and now a days they are trying to get as many busts and they can for this type of ****. I'll never talk to a cop with out a lawyer.

If I could of afforded a lawyer i would of got one first lol Neways the cop came by last wed. and had a whole other attitude than when he was on the phone with me. He told me he went and talked to the people he was recently living with and everything involving him is a huge trail of lies. I confirmed several more of his lies and dug him a deeper hole ;-) I also let him know I checked out his myspace account and he has several underage girls on his friends list. Hes going down and I think its hiliarious. I cant even begin to explain half the things he told this cop that was all lies, not sure why he made 1/2 that crap up either but o well.

Thanks for the link. I dont think hes much worried about me anymore since he knows the guy hes got has done nothing but lie to him! I know he cant get in trouble for having underage girls on his myspace, but it doesnt look good for him when hes caught trying to hook up with a "underage girl" he met in an aol chatroom lol
