I have a x3 non-air bag steering wheel (2-spokes) and would like to swap it, because i dont't like it beeing so thin!

Is the stock Elantra steering wheel (4-spokes) a direct bolt-on or do i need to have an adaptor plate?

Many thanks for your answers!

Hi Spenca!.......I`m not positive about the Lantra`s wheel, but I`m pretty sure the non-airbag wheel (superbly leather-covered) from the Scoupe Turbo `93/`95 will bolt straight up!.........here`s a pic. :-

Try Breakersweb or similar scrapyard agency,

I have an Elantra(Lantra) leather steering wheel in my '98. It looks similar to the picture above of the Scoupe steering wheel, but a bit thicker rim. I had to drill new holes in the back of the steering wheel hub for the signal cancel (Elantra uses two holes, and the Accent uses three). It is a little deeper dish than the stock Accent wheel, so your fingers have to stretch a little more to reach the signals and wiper controls. My wheel is out of a '99 Canadian spec Elantra w/o air bags. I am sure the 4-spoke version would require the same quick modification.
