I was just wondering how everybody else was comming along with thier sound. Me.....well i got 2-12'' Kenwood subs in a sealed box , 2-6.5'' Kenwood mid ranges in the back deck, ( I would change the door speakers but it would prob. be easier to learn brain surgery than to get those changed out) Kenwood 600 watt amp custom mounted to the back of the fold down seat (looks very clean), and a Kenwood flip face cd player. All and all I am very proud of it. I would recomend it to anyone. Im not sure how many Db's im hitting but i am proud to say I set off a building alarm last night from about 100 or so feet from the windows. ( it was a Biglots store.) I'm guessing that box isnt heavier than any rear passengers. And weight distribtion is pretty much in the front seeing how my rear tire lifts up when I jack the front one. Dude! VERY NICE!! But I bet it's gotta be a pain in the butt to tune the amps if you ever need to. *lol* Also....how much do your lights dim with that set up? Especially now that you have an underdrive pulley.

thanks man, the freaking lights dim to the point that it's dark, lol, na just kidding, but they do dim, I want to get a bypass to where I can turn off the amps for regular driving and turn them on when cruising... I need another CAP, like you said, as far as the pulley it's not installed yet... I want to tune my headers first but I need to get my high flow cat first so everything else is on hold... <img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>

Another cap will work, but also try and find some place that will re-coil your alternator to put out more output. That would be the best thing. But a second cap won't hurt any. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Cool! Hey..does anyone here have any experience with the Alpine Type R's? There's a stereo shop near me that just started to carry them. I went to check them out, but they weren't hooked up so I couldn't listen to them. Pretty expensive though! Anyway..just wondering if anyone has them or heard them in real life! Thanx.....

My brother has a 12" TypeR in his Si. He runs everything with a a few high-end xtant amps. It's nice, and built for some serious power. I can't imagine if he had 2... <img src="http://www.duhspot.com/users/smiley/s/cwm/cwm/eek3.gif" border=0>

Hey Morgasm, what was the best way you found to mount the amp to the back of the back seat? I ended up mounting mine to the box cuz I was afraid of ruining the seat.

My 500 watt Bazooka amp is mounted to the back of the seat, and my seat is just fine.
