That stuff is for older cars that have dirty fuel lines and injectors. It cleans out carbon deposits. Your car is too new for that.

I tried this product on a whim. They had it on sale for $19.95 at my local auto parts store when I went in for oil.

For the first tank full, while the Z-Max was in there, I DID get better mileage (by about 2 MPH) and did get better performance. The Turbo setup from alpine is VERY prone to detontaion, and the z-max cured that...for one tank fun.

After I burned through that tank, performance and mileage was back to normal.

Does it do what it claims? No. It does not last 5000 miles. But it did make a small improvement for 1 tank of gas!<img src=/images/forums/snitz/moon.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>
