from 1.5 carb to 2.0 DOHC and all this in Scoupe 92

Hi everyone!!I have a question-did enyone put 2.0 DOHC from Sonata 90 in Scoupe!!!!I have one engine I didn't start to put it,but want some advise if someone did this before!!!Will I have problems with this job-i mean hard problems!!!???

i persoanlly haven't heard anything about that, but it sounds really hard... hope you have a 2nd car to drive while the scoupe is down.

i dont think it will work. the scoupe uses an alpha.. the 90 sonata uses a mitsu engine, the mounts are gonna be diffrent (i think). try and find a beta, or a 1.5 alpha DOHC

Didn't the early Scoupes use Mitsubishi engines like the Excels (X2s) did?

does only the scoupe turbo use an alpha? i havent ever seen an scoupe, turbo or non.

91-92 Scoupe is the same as the X2, all DSM swap info applies.

Yeah, I thought so. I remember seeing pictures of a 4G63T swap a long time ago somewhere... It's definitely possible. Thank god I'm not going nuts.
