I am new to the forum, and have been searching for a while on here for information about engine performance swap options. I have a 98 elantra that I want to do a budget performance build. I was wondering if swapping cams from a different beta engine would help. I was also wondering how the 2.0 was stroked (i.e. via crankshaft or pistons and rods). Also wondering if there is an injector swap option and or throttle body swap option. I am trying to keep this almost a strictly junk yard build. Please let me know any information you might have. Thanks.
