There are a few out there I bought my H&R on tirerack, the APEX on (MHP no more?) they are now hard to find in the US, there are others intrax, B&G, Eibach. There's also coilovers from other companies but I have never tried them. Between the H&R and APEX that I have had on my car, the APEX lowered most, but H&R is stiffer.

Do a search and try to find more info that way too, it helps alot. Theres tons of info here from years of x3 tuning. Others will follow with suggestions below.... You can also check out cardomain and see what else others have used and looks like.

goodluck!

Try the Zenn spring's..they lower the car about an inch and a half,

For the price..you won't be dissapointed

u have a 96 excel, with non-conical rear springs. That means u can use (king) the same front springs as a 97-00 excel, but not the rears. Therears of a 97-00 are the same as the 00-03 accent, but not the front.
And neither front nor rear of any accent 00-present will suit at all.

so to answer in short, no, they wont fit, go get proper suited ones for a series on X3: king superlow numbers are KHFL114 KHRL115 they lower the car around 3-4inches (i found in persoanl experience) and on stockies absolutely slapped it on its guts. normal lows barely lower at at and go closer to matching stock ride height.

Cheers
