They need to fix that mine close just fine.

 

I got a 4dr Hachback & all 4doors I need to slam shut. Let me know if they fix the problem when you bring it in.

Had the same problem with my 02 GT. The passenger door needed more force than the rest to shut. I lubed the latch and tried to make an adjustment but there is nothing to adjust. After a day the problem disappeared, maybe the oil helped. Let us know what they did to fix the problem.

 

My 03 GT has the same problem it appears. But I found a fix. Mainly because everyone that rides in the car thinks "oh its brand new so i don't need to shut the doors to hard." The way I find is hold the door firmly, don't slam it, but continue pushing on the door as it shuts, then the seal seats fine. But if you just push it and let go of the door it doesn't seat at all.

 

yea well dealer said they cant fix it without replacing all the doors... so im just gonna oil i i guess... thanks

 

Mine seems to close just fine, almost too easy.

 

This won't work in the winter, cause it's too damn cold, but if it's warm out, open one or two of the windows a little bit. I don't mean like an inch, just like 1mm. That'll be enough to relieve the air pressure in the car when you shut the last door.

 

That's what I tried when I was having the problem. I would leave the driver's side door open and close the passenger side to see if trapped air was the problem. It wasn't. Only lubing the latch seemed to help.
