yep i can believe the 124mph mark =199.km i got 190km = about 118.1MPH with two fattys in the back (weighing in at about quarter of a ton between the two of them) and a mate in the front and still coulda squeezed more out of her but i backed off because i didn't want to loose my license, car was bone stock 1.5 X3 running on 14s

 

mine i think ive got her up to 90.... then she just runs outta steam and kinda dum to just keeping 4king the engine to see if my pos can go 100

i have a 2004 hyundai accent, 5 speed, stock and had it to 125.

 

185kms the fastest mine would go and I needed 15km of straight road

 

I was able to hit 111 mph on flat land in my previous 00 Accent L 5 speed. It simply refused to go any faster due to drag resistance. I remember Hyundai listed on their website at the time that the official top speed was 112. The 1.6 models should be able to do about 117. 5 speeds will always have higher top speeds than automatics in this car. Hyundai does not use a speed limiter on the Accent, at least not the 95-05 models.

Ive had mine up to 119,and have a pic of my it on my gps of top speed ive had it.I think it could have gone a lil faster but it started shaking a lil.

 

I had mine up to 85 once. I think it could do 88 mph with some mods.

Went a little past 182 km/h (~ 113 mph).
I was busy watching the road, not the speed, seeing as it was a curve full of cars.

My guess for max speed is 200 km/h (~ 125 mph) (down the hill ).

I think my x3 bounced the rev limiter about 125mph if i remember, that was before swapping to the tib ecu which has a little bit higher rev limit though.

 

update, I managed to hit 115mph this past tuesday night. if I were a bit lighter (i weigh around 320lbs) I could have prolly hit 117ish or so LOL

i have done 180kmph

 

with my stock wheels, my 00 1.5l sohc got too squirrelly at 95, and i chickened out from pushing it any further. didnt seem too unhappy to be at that speed though....but those 13"s HATED IT. Now that i have my 15's on it....95 ought to be cake....but i havent been in the mood to go for it. its a big risk i dont necessarily need to take "just to see".....but it'll happen eventually, i know it will :bandit:

 

can't pull past 115 on flat land but got 127 down a big a$$ bridge. made my engine scream past redline i think. that was before i had my tach but it was makin a weird noise

 

110. thats as fast as mine will go. everyone talks about how they get up to the speed around this range but they still had 1k till redline, so they could of gone faster. just because the car isnt redlined doesnt mean it will go faster. most cars have a fuel cutoff or some sort of limiter that wont let you go past a certain speed.

Ive gotten around 113....then it seems to stop around there.........it just wont go any faster....

 

I was just curious what the top speed is, Is it limited to about 113 like my 01 elantra?? The reason I ask is I was driving behind Skierd (Dave) and we where doing about 107-110 MPH through some of those tunnels going to Pa. TUNNELS ARE A BLAST!!! 8D I was just wondering if he was topped out or if he could go faster than my elantra.

I've been 110mph, then the road started gettting sh*tty, so I had to slow down. I think I could have gove 115 mph, but it was going to be pretty slow going from 110 to 115. I have the 1.5L and it's all stock. :evil:
